Medieval Lego Village

Today we went to Paul's house. I got to open a new present and you wouldn't believe what it was. He gave me the most amazing Lego medieval village. He is also building some other town buildings himself. Here I am deconstructing his hotel:
I assembled the first half of my village before and after supper (it took 4 and a half hours). Here are some images of it.

The water wheel turns and opperates an automatic anvil. See video below.

The lamps in front have flames that look like they are coming out of Lego sextants. I think they are gas lights!
