Ben 10 Lego
I don't watch Ben 10 so it took until my birthday for me to lay hands on one of these Ben 10 Lego sets that same out a few months ago. They have some interesting pieces such as the wings on this guy. They are built on the Bionicle design but not as well. The pieces are made in Mexico rather than Europe and they don't fit together as nicely. The set was small and a bit too obvious to assemble (without instructions, maximum 2 minutes assembly time). The pieces, as you can see from this close up, are hollow and feel different than other Lego and Bionicle.

Bionicle masterpiece
My Omi bought me this huge Bionicle vehicle. It took me days to build it correctly. It is going to join "Sharky" in the won't-take-apart category.

New Brunswick Bionicles
In St. John New Brunswick on our vacation today we went to eat with June's friend Donn Downs at his house. He has two sons and they have tons of old Bionicles. They even have the original Matinui!!! This is a whole box full of them. We played for a while then watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

When I got home yesterday from my last day of grade 3, I discovered this giant Mars Mission Lego set, the MX-81 Hypersonic Operations Aircraft. I built most of it yesterday and finished it this morning.

I opened this diver minifig at lunch today. Even though he has flippers, they still supply him with a stand.

minifig aboriginal
It was National Aboriginal Day today and I opened my first of the new collectable Lego minifigs and coincidentally I got this aboriginal figure. I went out with my dad hunting for these but Toys R Us is sold out and we only found a total of six ofthem from the three Walmarts.
